Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken wings or chicken thighs on the bone
- 3 tbsp of MCT or Olive Oil
- 60 ml of WillPowders tomato ketchup (or choose one with no added sugar or additives)
- 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp of honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust sweetness to taste)
- 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp of onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). - In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
Step 2
In a small saucepan, combine the tomato ketchup, apple cider vinegar, honey or maple syrup (if using), and Dijon mustard. - Heat the sauce over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until well combined and heated through. Taste and adjust sweetness or tanginess as desired.
Step 3
Arrange the seasoned chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. - Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
Step 4
Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl. - Pour the BBQ sauce over the wings and toss until evenly coated. - Transfer the BBQ wings to a serving platter and garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
