Nutty, Crunchy Protein Balls

Enjoy your Snickers-inspired protein balls! They're the perfect combination of sweet, salty, and chocolaty goodness, with the added protein boost.

Ingredients

  • 2 large scoops of WillPowders Chocolate Protein
  • 6 Pitted Dates
  • 2 tbsp of Peanut Butter (or any nut butter)
  • 1 pinch of Celtic Sea Salt
  • 100g of Dark Chocolate
  • Chopped Nuts

Method

Step 1

In a food processor, pulse the 6 pitted dates until they break down into a sticky paste.

Step 2

Add the 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and 2 large scoops of chocolate protein powder.

Step 3

Pulse again until the mixture is well combined and forms a dough-like consistency. The mixture should not be too sticky; if it's too dry, add a small splash of water or a little more peanut butter.

Step 4

Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls, about the size of a walnut. The mixture should hold together well without being sticky.

Step 5

Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or over a double boiler until smooth.

Step 6

Dip each protein ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated, then roll it in the chopped nuts for extra crunch and flavour.

Step 7

Sprinkle with a little Celtic Sea Salt (optional)

Step 8

Place the coated balls on a tray lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened.
