This deliciously refreshing, calming drink is rich in anti-oxidants and vitamin C. Ladened with goodness to support your liver in its detoxifying work and to aid your gut in the digestion of the day's fare.

Perfect for summer days, or when you're feeling a little over wrought.

Enjoy with sparkling water over ice, or as a hot tea before bed.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 inches fresh Ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 2-3 tbsp of freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 250ml of Sparkling Water
  • 250ml of Still Water
  • Ice cubes if serving cold
  • 2 Calm capsules
  • (optional)- Fresh mint leaves

Method

Step 1

In a small saucepan, bring 250ml of water to a simmer.

Step 2

Add the sliced ginger and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes to infuse the water with ginger flavour.

Step 3

Remove from heat and add the content of 2 Calm capsules.

Step 4

If making tea, strain out the ginger, add your lemon juice and serve.

Step 5

To serve cold, let your ginger infused water cool.

Step 6

Once cooled, strain out the ginger slices and discard them.

Step 7

In a pitcher or large glass, combine the ginger-infused water with freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Step 8

Add the sparkling water and stir gently to combine. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the Ginger Lemon Sparkling Detox Water over the ice.

Step 9

Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing detoxifying drink!
